“As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Checkendon Pre-
School. The close-knit environment means each child can form
meaningful relationships with their teachers and peers. The teachers each
have a specific group of children they focus on, yet they all collaborate to
lead various activities, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience
for the kids.
One of the aspects I appreciate most is how attentive the teachers are to
individual parental concerns. Whether it’s nap schedules or potty training,
they are always willing to discuss and accommodate our needs with a non-
judgmental approach.
My children come home excited to talk about their teachers and tell me
the things they’ve learned. My four-year-old can now independently write
his name and he and my 2 year old have both learned to count, along with
spouting information on topics like rainbows and butterfly lifecycles.
Overall, I highly recommend it to other parents. The warmth of the staff,
combined with the opportunity to get out in nature and interact with their
